This is the first bookmark my mother taught me to make. I don’t know if it was ever n a book.
The bootie pattern from the book Joanne loaned me reminded me of it. All the rings are 6-6 ( or 6+6 ). There are 2 DS before and after the picots on the chains, and 3 DS in the chains at the center of the cross. Begin and end at the top.
This book has more than 25 designs for earrings, bracelets, pendants, and charms. There are patterns for beginners to advanced, and several Celtic patterns. It is 7 x 10 inches, and priced at $24.95. It should be available on Amazon.com in a few days.

This can be tatted in about 15 minutes with about a yard of thread and a few seed beads. Click here for instructions in a PDF file –> Tiny Decorated Christmas Tree
This is an EASY one pass snowflake that is great for a beginner who is ready to learn to use two shuttles, and tat thrown off rings. Tat this one to use up that last little bit of thread left on a shuttle. It only takes a couple of yards of thread.

It is beginning to feel like fall. Here in Florida that means that the temperatures go down to the 70s at night!
This little tiny bat is designed to go on a pair of tatted Battie Booties for Wally. Oh such fun!
This sample is size 12 Pearl Cotton. Size 20 thread would be a little smaller.
